Laos - Among the Last Hill Tribes

Far from the noise of modern Asia, in the remote highlands of northern Laos, dozens of ethnic groups continue to live much as their ancestors did. Riding along steep dirt roads, I reached mountain communities that have preserved their traditions and ways of life. Here, where mass tourism has yet to arrive, life unfolds at a gentle pace: simple, quiet, and deeply human.
